I checked out this book from the library and immediately knew that I had to buy my own copy. The recipes are sorted by the type of pot in which it will be cooked - skillet, baker, crock pot, etc. Many recipes call for simple ingredients that are all ready in my pantry. While I won't use "most" of the recipes because they don't appeal to my family's tastes, there are more than enough dishes that I have tried and liked to justify the cost of the book. I have recommended this book to my friends and family without hesitation.

Honestly this book was a big disappointment. It's badly written and the explanation of egg donation is just gibberish. Trying to explain to kids in the age range for this book how the "two halves of a cookie" analogy relates to them is annoying and futile, and it makes no sense at all when some random bunny shows up out of the blue at the bunny couple's front door, covered with small rabbits (seriously: what?), and says she wants to give them one of her many "itsy bitsy seeds." Like, what?!?! I have to add stuff to the story myself for it to even make sense. And then the bunny couple puts the seeds together themselves in some sort of giant test tube or vase with a ribbon on it (what?!?!), with no mention of doctors and no explanation of how putting what looks like two jelly beans into a vase has anything to do with helping a baby to be born.It's just total gibberish and I shouldn't have to make up half the story myself in order to make a children's book make sense.

This book is good for what it's intended for, which is to acclimate your young egg donation child to the concept of where they came from. It is NOT designed to explain all the science, psychology, and raw emotion involved with infertility and egg donation.Again, it's great for putting the concepts about how some parents can't have kids easily and find different ways to overcome that challenge. The idea being that later in life when your egg donation child is old enough to really understand where they came from that they will be open to the idea that its' not weird or strange. That's the purpose behind this book.Do not expert a guide on how to talk to your teenager about egg donation. Expect a cute story to lay some groundwork for your 4 or 5 year old.

I bought this book while I was pregnant with my daughter. I used an egg donor and a sperm donor to have my baby. I began reading this beautifully illustrated book to her when she was just an infant. I changed the names of the characters in the story to reflect the journey I had taken. I would read it as it was written and then I would read it to her as my story. She loved the changes of the characters and giggled when she started to recognize this was a story about our life. I would ask her how she wanted to read it; Palley and Coment or Mechell. She would pick different versions. When she was about 2 or so, I could tell she understood the difference. She understood the gifts we had received and the discussion about her conception became easier and easier. I highly recommend the book. You can add your family's pictures so it makes the story more personnel.

This book is great for introducing the concept of egg donation, without going into the details of reproduction. This is exactly the kind of story book I was looking for. It explains the love behind having your baby and the longing to make a family. It's a light hearted story and very colorful illustrations.

Kevin M. Lynch received his B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton, New Jersey in 1989, and Ph.D. in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University, Pennsylvania in 1996. He has been a faculty member at Northwestern University, Illinois since 1997 and has held visiting positions at California Institute of Technology, Carnegie Mellon University, Tsukuba University, Japan and Northeastern University in Shenyang, China. His research focuses on dynamics, motion planning and control for robot manipulation and locomotion; self-organizing multi-agent systems; and physically interacting human-robot systems. A Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), he also was the recipient of the IEEE Early Career Award in Robotics and Automation, Northwestern's Professorship of Teaching Excellence, and the Northwestern Teacher of the Year award in engineering. This book studies the formulation of robotics (kinematics, dynamics and control) through modern screw theory. It is a must-read for any serious roboticist.I think it is well written and challenging. Support material can be found in the author's website (where you can also, legally, download a pdf of it; but I do prefer the hard-cover paper book) and a course in EdX, by Frank Park, as well as course in Coursera, by Peter Lynch, are based on it.I would recommend it for senior year or first year grad school.

I would recommend this book, great price. We used it for my Licensed Nursing Assistant Class and it covers a lot.

A must book for CNA's. I read every page of it and passed my certification right away!

I haven't read the book, but I quickly scanned some parts, it looks like it covers all and it easy to read and understand. However, when it arrived the book has some dents from shipment. The price seems to go up too. I got it for 65$ and now its 70$..

Textbook in good condition. Only thing is that it smells like the previous owner or renter was a heavy smoker and sprayed it with perfume. Its horrible! As someone with asthma I abhor the smell of cigarettes.

I got my book, and it was very helpful. I graduated last month. And to have this book as a good reference is helpful at all time. I'm do glad that I purchase this book.

It was written in already and the hand print was unreadable.

For some reason, they have decided to sell this for Kindle without formatting it for Kindle.There's no table of contents. Some of the font choices simply do not make sense for electronic reading. Many of the diagrams do not work on all kindle readers (and are not captioned). No one considered navigation.It's a chore to get to the content.

I think this is definitely a good resource to understanding the format and types of questions that will be asked on the exam, however, even as a beginner programer I am finding a ton of errors. The good news is that if you can figure out the error, you can be assured that you have a good understanding of SAS programming. If you are looking to take the certification exam I would skim through this and also look for some online resources.

I have looked for this edition of this book in various sites. But this was the cheapest price I could find. Totally satisfied with the quality and the price.

There seems to be a lot of errors in the book. In one example code, the title specified in the code is different than what is shown for the output. In another example code, two variables are specified to be kept from the SET Statement, a subsetting IF Statement on a variable not kept, and then the output has 5 variables. I am just beginning learning SAS and this book is making me wonder how much bad information I am receiving from it. The exam and program is extremely nitpicky (as it should be) and I expect an official prep guide to be just as nitpicky.
