the information in this book is mainly 2003-specific, not very useful in 2016. It is pretty close to what I need if it contained the latest info!

Everyone needs to do estate planning.Easy to read.Defines words we ALL need to know!!!!Really, not sure why banks and other financial institutions /schools do not push ESTATE PLANNING more ...We all should do ESTATE PLANNING. Early and Often. Saves taxes, headaches for families/heirs after you die.

This has very good information about general planning. Unfortunately, its not the up-to-date version that reflects the changes in the estate tax exclusion ($5 million plus) nor the spousal exclusion carryover. The author tries to lighten up what might be considered a dull subject with some humorous references - as I went through the book I found them becoming tiresome. I used it as a refresher "course" and it was beneficial.
Bought for my mom and she seemed to find it easy to use and understand.
This book is totally out of date on the estate tax. The book appears to have been written before 2009. Don't buy it!
