The book is easy to read and very informative. I have some working knowledge of ansible already, but this book really helps break the creation of playbooks down and explains things clearly. However, there are lots of typos and that is disappointing. Overall good book though.
The book flows well and was really interesting it would have been nice to see a chapter on networking but it was really good read.

Excellent book on the power of Ansible and creating robust playbooks.
This book shows how to install, configure and control software remotely with Ansible. Several chapters cover how to develop Playbooks as a workflow where every task is fully scriptable. There are modules (https://github.com/ansible/ansible-modules-core and https://github.com/ansible/ansible-modules-extras) for pre-defined tasks like creating a user or installing a package. Network discovery, data encryption and system orchestration are also covered.
Had good experiences reading this book, coming in with zero Ansible experience. I thought the book wasn't overly wordy, and I could read a chapter here and there with little problem in between reading sessions. One of the better tech reads I've had in a while. Definitely recommended. 4/5 stars since there were just one or two small areas I had to re-read to understand.
