Maps came in handy. If you don't know Paris, and you want to see things and travel via public transportation, you are going to need maps. Lightweight and useful.
Information while basic was useful. Maps were so small they were almost useless.
Small enough to fit in my small purse. The map's locations of Tourist Information Centers, where we purchased our museum passes, saved us hours of time from waiting in the ticket line at the Louve. This was a very helpful guide on so many levels. I used the pop-out map about six times a day!
It was a gift and the recipients stated that it was helpful.
Love the InsideOut books; wish they covered more cities and were updated more often.
While I think this is one of the best little guide books, I am disappointed that it no longer comes with the pen nor the compass. I found both of those to be extremely helpful. I would not have lent out my old insideout guide had I known that they were going to discontinue those amenities. I do find the pop out maps to be the most useful part of this guide.
Very good, concise information. Good size (small) book to have it with you on the streets. You will not know you have it in your pocket until you need it.
