I'm taking over my church finances. I currently work in corporate finance, and I wanted to supplement my knowledge, as there are a few differences. I found the book a bit basic for someone with a base knowledge already, however it told me what I needed to know and compared profit/non profit well. It would be a great read for anyone who has no knowledge of finance at all.
I am a professor of museum studies at University of San Francisco who teaches nonprofit management seminars. This is the book I have been looking for two decades! It is clear, practical and breaks down complex information in a way that is relevant to the work all of us in the nonprofit sector do.
