I purchased this item for my 7 And 8 year old boys. They are thrilled with all the pop ups and flip tabs!! Adds a bit of extra excitiment to learning. I like how they have side notes of "this at home" which then gives them a little hands on activity which is just added renenforcment of what they have just learned, but in a fun hands on example. Definitly glad i bought the book. The font size varies from large to small. Some of the small print makes me wanna bust out a magnifying glass (printed under the tabs). However it is packed with awesome information!! All in all if i rated this book I would give it a 10. I believe it can hold the intrest of a child who loves to know facts or just plain curious.
I bought a bunch of this line of books for my 5yo for Xmas...they’re great!! Lots of flaps and interesting interactive things for a little guy who is learning to read. I can also see this being a set of books that he will get value out of as he gets older as well.My ONLY BEEF is that when they discuss plastics, they discuss how “durable†and “long lasting†they are without acknowledging that those adjectives also denote a material that will not biodegrade. I suppose in the face of China’s recent ban on importing our recyclables this is more on my mind than ever.All in all these are great books and an awesome addition to any grade school kids library!
MY daughter-in-law, grandson, and I love this book!! It is fascinating and has great projects for youngsters to try, such as making ice cream in a ziplock bag! As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to get it.
I ABSOLUTELY love this book! I didn’t realize it was a pop up book when i ordered (must’ve been half asleep haha)... it is awesome. I can’t wait to see my little scientists face on Christmas morning
I loved this... and then shared it with my young nieces!
We have a four year old who loves science and is usually gentle with his toys. He loves the book so far and the flaps and pop ups are all still intact. Great book- interesting for kids and the adults reading it to them.
Lots of interesting facts and information, in a well designed format (pop up, flaps, etc) that get little ones interested in science.
This book is very nice.Good information and fun to read.My 9 years old son loves this book .I would recommend
